SUPPORT FROM WISECO

You never know where a helping hand can come from – it’s often from where you least expect it.

It’s hard to stick to a small budget when the unexpected happens and there’s only so much the wallet can take. It’s tough trying keep costs to a minimum in this sport, because you can’t really afford to cut any corners when it comes to motorcycle racing: it’s pretty challenging at times.

So far this season, it’s true to say, we’ve had more than our fare share of bad luck and Ritchie has never complained. He just gets on with what he’s got to work with and does his very best to ride through the problems; many of which have been literally thrown at him. He knows that crashing out and mechanical problems are all part of racing, but when it doesn’t hurt you physically, it can hurt emotionally and financially too. So when we heard from Wiseco, it was just the boost we needed. They responded warmly to our email for help with supplying us a new kit for a new engine and said they would be very happy to deal with us directly from the good ol’ USA.

It’s the help we’re desperately going to need to build another engine to compete in the Golden Era Superbikes.

It’s this kind of understanding that’s sometimes missing with other so-called “race focused” companies. Some never even bother to reply or even acknowledge an email.

We’re so lucky to have R&G Racing, Kais Suspension, Holbeach Tyres and Cradley Kawasaki to help us.

They say that they’ll never forget that it’s racing that helped them build their businesses. They’re our kind of people; happy to support bike racing at all levels and teams like us, who – out of their own money – try there very best to compete in this fantastic, exciting and often harsh, sport of motorcycle racing.

Big thanks to our new friends at Wiseco; were so pleased you answered our plea and to have you join our small team – it means a lot.
